Committee Recruitment - ETC

Join the coolest tech organization on campus!

Why join a committee?

Joining a committee is a great opportunity to enhance your skill set, grow as an individual, expand your network, and build friendships for life! As part of an ETC committee, you will be responsible for the management of one of our core activities, among a small team.

Your work will be challenging at times, but you will be rewarded with great personal connections and many opportunities to learn and develop.

Why ETC?

Do you want to join a dynamic student organization that continuously inspires its community members and challenges the status quo? Awesome! If you want to help ETC grow and get personal benefits in the process, then look no further. When ETC started three years ago, the founders had the vision to educate students about the technologies that will shape tomorrow. How? They had a get-shit-done attitude.

Since then, we have strongly clung onto this mentality and drive. Thanks to it, we invited James Whittaker (Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft USA) and Bruce Daisley (European Vice President of Twitter) among other inspirational speakers. We’ve also expanded our offering to enable you to realize our mission, Understand & Create Tomorrow, by applying your skills.

Are you up for sharing ambitions, living your passion, incubating your ideas, and building a legacy with your fellow committee members?

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to develop yourself beyond your imagination
  • The freedom to start up new projects, initiatives, and ideas
  • Opportunities to network with industry leaders
  • The chance to grow the largest tech-focused student association in the Benelux
  • A space to connect with other tech enthusiasts
  • A network of some of the most remarkable minds on campus & beyond

What you can offer us:

  • A curiosity for technology and innovation (but not necessarily any experience)
  • A “get shit done” attitude
  • The eagerness to learn and improve
  • A taste for teamwork and problem-solving
  • Your availability for the 2021/2022 academic year for ~ 5-7 h/week
